NUVA Yachts began with a simple yet bold idea: to break away from traditional yacht design and create something truly different. When we introduced the NUVA MS6 in 2016, we knew we were taking a risk. The concept of a motorsailer with an expandable hull was unconventional, and many doubted its success. Yet, we believed in challenging the status quo, because to truly innovate, you have to go beyond what’s expected.
This spirit of resilience, creativity, and fearless thinking is what defines NUVA Yachts. Our journey has never been about following the crowd; it’s about carving our own path. It’s about creating yachts that not only look beautiful but offer true versatility and freedom on the water.

Today, 11 years and 9 models later, 2025 marks a new chapter for NUVA Yachts. It’s the year we take our vision further than ever before, introducing three groundbreaking models: the M8 Cabin , the most spacious and accessible yacht of its size; the M11 Cabin , which redefines boating with unique innovations such as its camper-style bed ; and the M14 , a true revolution in design and price within its category.
We continue to move forward with the same passion that drove us from the beginning, challenging the established order and creating yachts that inspire freedom, adventure and a new way of experiencing the sea .

A deep passion for the sea, forged in more than 30 years of sailing experience, together with a clear vision and an unwavering determination, led Andrés Cárdenas to found NUVA Yachts.
With more than 20 years of experience in the nautical sector and a solid track record as a leader in renowned companies such as Rodman and Bavaria, Cárdenas has found in NUVA a means to transform the industry with yachts that fuse innovative design, functionality and advanced technology.
By distilling his personal philosophy, Andrés has succeeded in making yachting accessible to a wider audience, without sacrificing design, efficiency and performance. With this ambition to challenge convention, NUVA has established itself as a differentiated and quality brand in the nautical world.
David Almeida
General Manager and Operations
With a solid background in process optimization, operations management and commercial strategy, he has been part of the management team since the brand's inception in 2015. His strategic vision and focus on efficiency have been instrumental in transforming NUVA into what it is today.
Since the launch of the first model, David has led the definition and improvement of production processes, ensuring that each yacht not only meets the highest quality standards, but also reflects NUVA’s innovation and distinctive design. His management role ranges from the relationship with suppliers and distributors to the supervision of sales and commercial expansion.
